Many years ago, a neighbour gave me a Glen Loates print that hung in my hall. It had faded very badly and the frame was damaged and discolored. I ordered the Saw-Whet owl on line and it arrived safely in no time. Encouraged, I then ordered a double mat on line while my husband repaired the frame. The result is up on my wall and I am thrilled. Soft natural colors of the owl in a maple tree in a maple frame. So sweet.
Janet,
You guys did a fabulous job with the framing! That is a sweet little owl.
This is the same owl that was found in the Christmas tree that was put up in front of the Rockefeller Plaza in New York!
I found a news article here about it: https://www.cbc.ca/radio/asithappens/as-it-happens-thursday-edition-1.5808547/tiny-owl-found-unharmed-in-rockefeller-tree-is-a-christmas-miracle-says-rehabilitator-1.5808659
Thank you so much for your interest in my father's work and we hope to see you back again soon at The Glen Loates Store.
Regards,
Michael Loates
