Perfect in a cottage or home, The Red Fox & Ring-necked Pheasant by Glen Loates is a classic watercolor piece from our collection and a fan favorite. We are so excited to offer it again. As the startled pheasant takes off, feathers and debris are scattered in all directions while the red fox looks up with disappointment.
The red fox is found across the entire Northern Hemisphere from the Arctic Circle to North Africa, North America, and Eurasia. Red foxes are omnivores with a highly varied diet consuming over 300 animal species and a few dozen species of plants. They primarily feed on small rodents like voles, mice, and ground squirrels. Secondary prey species include birds, leporids, other invertebrates, and fish.
