I am very pleased and happy with the prints. My reason for this particular print is the special meaning for the cardinals.
My parents have passed away and the cardinals are always present in my yard. The cardinals remind me of my Mother and Father and it gives me great joy knowing they are present watching over me. This just fills my heart.
I ordered a second print for my friend who recently lost her husband. She also believes in the cardinals in the very same way.
Love the prints, so happy to have them.
Thank you!!!
Betsy,
Reading your message brought a warm glow to my heart. Knowing that the cardinal prints, painted by my father Glen Loates, hold such a profound and personal significance for you is truly moving. The story you shared about how these birds serve as a beautiful reminder of your parents, and now bring comfort to your friend in her time of loss, touches deeply on the very essence of why my father creates art. It's about connection, memory, and the gentle presence of love that endures in our lives through nature's beauty.
Your experience and decision to share this connection with your friend, offering her a symbol of love and remembrance, is a testament to the strength and compassion that binds us in moments of grief and joy alike. It's an honour to know that my father's work has contributed to this beautiful cycle of support and remembrance.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing our art into your home and lives, and for sharing this touching story with us. It's a poignant reminder of the impact art can have, far beyond the canvas, touching lives in ways we can only imagine.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Michael Loates
